It was clearly an intention to segregate student on the basis of caste instead of following an alaphabetic order system. The attendance register is the prime evidence of this. The first page showed all the back ward classes from community and the next page most back ward students from the community.
This was happened in MGR primary school in Chennai. Neither political persons nor social activists open their mouth or raise this issue anywhere. The issue came to public notice when the school officials shared this on whats app group including both parents and students.After this caste row came to the light headmistress in charge says we just sorted out this inorder to help the students to get scholarship and improve their academics.This kind of discrimination take place in many primary schools of Tamil nadu.
There is having no person to bring this issue in to public. Students called up on caste instead of name is kinda awkward . This should be changed. If it is happened twice , the people of Tamil nadu should raise their voice and shout slogans against this. This is actually cruel caper of human society calling or discriminating students or people on the basis of caste. This must be stopped for ever.
No caste discrimination ever allowed in schools or other premises.
