Dispute and in fights continue in Congress party over the issue of candidate selection for Rajya Sabha. The State leadership will held discussions with high command today on the selection process of candidates. Many names are there under the leadership consideration. M Liju , Shanimol Usman , Satheeshan Pacheni, VT Belram , M M Hassan , Mullapalli Rama Chandran are the last list names prepared by the leadership. Even though talks were held yesterday in Delhi no decision were taken by party leader ship.
But the report says that M Liju and Sreenivasan Krishnan will be the final line up in the seat discussion. KPCC Chief K Sudakaran and M Liju on yesterday met Rahul Gandhi and talk about seat selection. K Sudakaran has a soft affection on M Liju and he wish Liju will represent the party in Rajya Sabha. But KC Venugopal and ‘A’ group have oppose voice over this. They demands recently defeated candidates names should not be considered in selection process and these people put more focus on their own constituency.
Senior leader K Muralidaran has same opinion. Meanwhile , too much of pressure has at the National level to field Sreenivasan Krisnan close aid of Sonia Gandhi and AICC Secretary in Charge Telengana.
Until now there was no decision taken about the Congress Candidate as there was strong oppose with in the state .
