Fund misappropriation in the name of DYFI late leader P Biju has been levelled against Thiruvananthapuram district Vice President P Shahin.
The complaint was forward to CPI(m) leadership by DYFI area Committee.
The immediate action in this regard will be taken by the CPI( M) leadership.
The story is that Fund has been collected in memory of late P Biju to set out a red care centre and ambulance service around Thiruvanthapuram Medical college . A total amount of Rs 11 lakh or more has been collected and handed over to District Committee.
Out of this amount of Rs 5 lakh kept aside to purchase ambulance.
The complaint stated that this amount has been distorted and spent for some other purposes .
Shahin who was the possession to handle the money misappropriated the money for his personal use. He was then Palayam local Secretary now in charge of District vice President.
A total of RS 2 lakh reportedly transferred several times stated the complaint. The fund misappropriation was happened about one year ago. CPI(M) leadership has taken this issue seriously and action is likely in this regard.
